We are offering a series of free dinners and workshops with the doctor for federal workers including union officers, shop stewards, TSA workers and postal workers. The series is designed to help injured workers with their compensation claims. On Tuesday, April 02, 2019, at 6:30pm we hosted a free dinner with the doctor workshop in our office.
Deborah Eisen, MD, spoke about the importance of documenting the employee's injury, and the steps to go about doing it. Dr. Eisen explained how to fill-out OWCP's CA-1 form, which is a notice of traumatic injury. She discussed the nuances of correctly documenting a traumatic injury, which affected multiple body parts. On Tuesday, February 05, 2019, at 6:30pm we hosted a free dinner with the doctor workshop in our office.
This workshop's topic was about what to do after the worker gets injured. Deborah Eisen, MD, spoke about the first steps to take, after the federal employee gets injured at work.
